ARCA RE/MAX Series Jason Jarrett to Compete in Series in 2001 Jason Jarrett, the son of 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett, announced on Dec. 9 that he will run the complete 25-race ARCA RE/MAX Series in 2001.
NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge Series Carlson Captures 2000 Championship Steve Carlson won the 2000 NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge Series championship in style on Oct. 8. Running in front of his hometown fans, Carlson clinched the series title with a victory in the Oktoberfest 200 at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in Wisconsin.
Team RE/MAX Racing Metcalf Finishes Fourth; Ends Up Fourth in Season Standings John Metcalf climbed into fourth place in the final NASCAR Winston West Series point standings on Nov. 11 with a strong showing in the season finale. The Team RE/MAX Racing driver finished fourth in the Home Depot 300 at Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway.
