RE/MAX Midway Realty  FAQs for Consumers

Q - How do I navigate this site?
A - Here are three basic ways:

  1. Above the left-hand navigation bar, "your path" traces the path to the page you are currently viewing. Click on any of the pages/links listed in this path to go to that section of the site.
  2. Just below "your path" is a drop-down menu of all of the main sections of the RE/MAX Web site. Click on one of the links to go directly to that section. (NOTE: If Java Script is not running on your browser, first make a selection, then click on the "go>" button.)
  3. The left-hand navigation bar lists Web sections that are related to the section you are viewing.

Q - How do I search this site?
A - Near the upper right-hand corner of most pages on this site is a search box. Type in key words of the subject or area you wish to find and click on the "go>" button. The linked page will list all current pages on the site that match the words you typed, in order of the best matches first. For best results when looking for a numeral, place quotation marks around the figures.

At the bottom of the site's main home page is a search box for finding information in the news article archives. As with the site search, type in key words and click on the "go>" button. This command searches all the news articles published on the RE/MAX site.

Q - Why use a RE/MAX agent?
A - The answer is simple: a RE/MAX Sales Associate is the person best qualified to handle your real estate needs. Averaging twice the experience, three times the production and more advanced industry education than other agents, RE/MAX Associates are truly "The Real Estate Leaders" in quality customer service. Affiliation with the RE/MAX network, with its global market presence and high market share, provides Associates with the competitive advantage in serving your real estate needs.

Q - Do RE/MAX agents handle rental properties?
A - While most RE/MAX associates serve home buyers and home sellers, some of our agents do handle rentals. To find such an agent in your area, go to our site's main home page and click on "Home Buyers/Sellers". Click on "Find an Agent" and then set up a search on your city and state or province, and select "Rentals" from the "Areas of Specialization" pull-down menu.

Q - How do I find a property?
A - The "Home Buyers/Sellers" button on this site's main home page will take you to a page on which "Search for Properties" is one of the options.

Q - How do I find a neighborhood?
A -

Q - How do I print a page from remax.com? The lines are sometimes cut off on the right-hand margin of the printout.
A - The trend in Web sites is away from designing for print and toward designing for the screen. Thus, our site may be too wide for printing in some programs. To print full lines, go to the "File" menu, select "Page Setup," and click on "Landscape Orientation." By printing sideways on your page, you'll capture the full lines of the screen page. Or, if you prefer, go the "Page Setup" in the "File" menu and reduce the margins of the page.
