Affiliated with the industry-leading associates
of the global RE/MAX International network, RE/MAX Relocation excels in
helping settle transferees into their home destination.
RE/MAX Relocation contacts transferring employees
the same day we receive verbal authorization of the relocation. We develop
a detailed confidential profile to address the needs of each family member
so destination area requirements can be fully evaluated. We send buyer-
or renter-oriented welcome kits to the family to give them preliminary
information about the community and housing market. The RE/MAX Relocation
Account Executive continues as the single point of contact for the employee
and stays in constant communication with the real estate agent or rental
agency assisting the employee and family.
Upon request, we will contact a qualified local
appraiser to conduct an independent market-value appraisal. We review
the appraisal report with the appraiser and with the employee and assist
the employee and agent in further negotiating the contract, or counsel
the employee regarding any decision to cancel the offer.
We assign a transportation counselor to each
individual transferee. The counselor selects a reputable carrier, secures
competitive discounts, schedules guaranteed packing, loading and delivery
dates, audits carrier invoices, and if necessary, assists with claims.
RE/MAX personnel can assist transferring employees
in locating home financing, as well as advise on technical matters concerning
mortgages. Through our established relationship with lenders, employees
will receive the most complete and competitive home financing programs
available.
To aid the trailing spouse, we can arrange for
career counseling to identify skills and interests and to help the spouse
explore career options. We can provide information on business trends
in the destination city and can assist with resume preparation as well
as interview training and networking advice.
Transferees with children will probably mark
this as the most vital destination service of all. We can provide information
comparing any number of districts based on test scores, school size, class
size, teacher standards, facilities, student/teacher ratios, and property
values/tax base.
RE/MAX Relocation can refer the transferring
employee to a regionally-based company capable of providing elder and
child care services or referrals.
The RE/MAX International network of more than 62,000 Sales Associates
in more than 3,600 offices in 34 countries is as culturally and
ethnically diverse as the communities in which our Affiliates serve.
RE/MAX celebrates diversity and is dedicated to equal opportunity
in both housing and employment. RE/MAX International is an Equal
Opportunity Employer and supports the Fair Housing Act. Each RE/MAX
office is independently owned and operated. This Web site has been
custom designed for and is maintained by an independent RE/MAX office.
